I have to tell you what is going on and how faithful our God is! So far our adoption has cost $1925 and with all of the fundraisers and donations we have raised $1900. Wow! I am in awe of what He is doing! Thank you so much to all of the people who have bought T shirts, prayed for us, donated money or have just encouraged us.
So far we have been accepted into the Ethiopia program, started our online training and mailed in our first payments and agreements. This week we will hear from our appointed family coordinator on next steps. We will start our home study soon and will start "the paper chase".

Welcome to AWAA Ethiopia program! I saw your post on the Yahoo Group. We actually have a much more active yahoo group that is AWAA Ethiopia families and it is awesome. I highly recommend it! The guy who moderates it for us in Ethiopia this week picking up his two sons, but I am assure he will approve you as soon as he gets back if you'd like to join us!

Glad to see your comment on my blog. I of course jumped right to yours. We are all here for you as you start on this journey. Through reading your last couple of posts - you will want to check out my blog posts that reference the $$. I'm amazed daily at how God has provided above and beyond w/ the $$. We are fully funded, and don't even have our referral yet! (And no grants even!) He is amazing. Can't wait to see what He reveals to you as you begin your journey!

Just had to comment again when I saw that we have also been married for 6 years, have a 3 year old, and a 22 month old (we had to wait until she was 18 months to begin) too!
