Well, I thought our dossier was mailed Friday and on its way to Ethiopia but I got a call today telling me that it wasn't sent and they needed more stuff and MORE $$! A real bummer. I immediately got that sick feeling in the pit of my stomach. We try not to let it get us down but it did. We know that satan wants to get us down and discouraged. Pray that we remember constantly that its out of our control and in God's alone! Recently, we found out that Clay's work is doing another cut so its hard not to worry about that too.
They are saying that it will be mailed this Friday. Pray that this week it makes its way through Washington smoothly.
I just read the coolest post ever: This is the world's cutest child recently adopted from Ethiopia. He tells his family about Jesus visiting him in the orphanage. I will let you read it for yourself click here.
This is a glimpse into our journey to our sweet Ethiopian son. Through this journey we found a new heart. God lead us closer to himself and we are forever grateful for this opportunity.

Hey we will be praying for you guys and especially about your funds. I totally understand. Just keep reminding yourself of this verse: Jeremiah 32:27
"I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?

hi tracy! it's very nice to read up on another blog, and it's really cool that you guys are also christians. my husband is the youth/worship pastor of our church in Winfield, IL. I'm so sorry to hear about your extended wait for the dossier. you know, tim and i were thinking of going with AWAA and we even went to a seminar for them. they are so nice, but it was just the cost really that pushed us toward another agency. how is it, working with them? i do have one question for you about the blog: do you know how to get that little function for "voting" for a boy or girl? if you do, i'd LOVE to find out how! thanks! talk to you again!

I'll be praying, Tracy. Both about the dossier and Clay's job. The last leg of the "paper chase"! He will do it!!
Tracy, I feel your pain in these final paperchase days. A similar thing happened to us. It was such elation to have the dossier done, and then we got a call from Terra stating we had missed a certification on one paper--ugh!! God has called you to this and God will pull you through-- in every way!! Just like Kim Gillman said-- Finish Strong-- you are in the final mile!!
Grace and Peace,
Shari from our AWAA YG
